The Lenz Sport Mammoth is our shorter travel downcountry trail bike made for long trail rides where longer travel is not necessary. This Lenz plus bike is built for efficient climbing and fast descending on trail systems like Buffalo Creek or the famous 401 trail in Crested Butte Colorado. The Mammoth is similar to the Behemoth but with 110mm rear travel and 120 to 140mm front travel for reduced weight and better efficiency over long rides. We are continuously evolving the full suspension plus bike. This bike is going to be the go to bike for many riders out there who aren’t riding drops and super chunky trails, but still want the many benefits of a plus bike and our famous trail optimized geometry enabling the rider to aggressively ride and maneuver any trail feature that presents itself. The Mammoth has incredible geometry and traction for climbing long steep trails and a plush ride quality for fast descents. The stability of this Lenz Bike will impress any rider on slow technical trails, and you will feel more in-control at high speeds than ever before. You will love the handling, climbing, cornering, and descending characteristics and you can say goodbye to annoying pedal strikes. With our updated progressive spring curve rear suspension in a shorter travel, you get a super supple suspension that eats up the small bumps and has enhanced stability for greater pedaling efficiency. The Mammoth features our famous super short chainstay is designed for maneuverability and to be specific to 1x component groups. The Mammoth frame is 100% handmade in Colorado.
